Celebrating the 100th birthday of Donnell & Martha Odums

For 61 days of every year, our parents were the same age. In 2027, had they still been with us, they would both be 100 at the same time. In honor of our parents and the legacy they created, we have decided to all come together (family & friends) to celebrate their 100th! This website will house all of the information regarding everything that will take place. When, where, and how much. Please get all of your information HERE. The Plans so far…

Host Accommodations : Resora Resort, 801 Old Pretoria Road, Albany, Georgia.

This historic venue is over 1600 acres of lush green open land. Please search the link and read the story. www.resoraexperience.com. This location has luxury rustic 2-3 bedroom cabins for rent as airbnb which you can book directly from the web site or by going to airbnb.com. If we book these cabins we will have the entire 1600 plus acres to ourselves.

The cost for the weekend is $200 per adult (18 & up) and $100 per Youth (17 & under). This includes: 1. Friday Welcome Reception 2. Saturday morning Breakfast, 3 Motor Coach trip to Cuthbert, 4. Entrance to the Civil Rights Museum, 5. Dinner Saturday night, 6. Sunday morning Brunch, and 7. A Souvenir T-Shirt.

Payments are to be made via cash app; $odums100th

You have 7 months to make payments, all payments must be in by May 15, 2027 !

Once you have begin your payment commitment, please send an email to: Odums100th@gmail.com to confirm your attendance. Include: 1.Your name. 2. Your cash app name. 3. The number of people you are paying for. 4. Each person’s name and T-shirt size (Youth S-XL) (Adult S-4XL). After the information is submitted, you will get a confirmation email from the committee.

1st Night – Friday

Welcome reception (4-6)

Reception will be held in the mansion, with a bounce house and games on the grounds.

Dinner & Talent Show (6-10)

Dinner will be a cookout style meal as we mill around the property and get ready for our family talent show.

There will be a karaoke machine as well as playing cards checkers, and all sorts of other games.

(All of us think we have talent of some sort. Show us what you got! We’ll love it or laugh at it, but we will all have fun!)

Day 2 – Saturday

Family breakfast. Then we explore our history with a tour of Donnell and Martha’s Albany, to include the Albany Civil Rights Museum. Next, is lunch, followed by a motor coach, trip to the roots… Cuthbert Georgia. (These events will be recorded for generational history) We close out the evening with dinner and dancing!

Day 3 – Sunday

We began our final day with morning prayer around the breakfast table, a family tradition. Then Sunday mornings in the Odums House… Church! Every one will take the lessons from the previous days and dress like either Momma or Daddy. Hats, gloves, heels, Suite, Tie, Brim Hat, Stacy Adam Shoes… LOL! Family church in the mansion’s main sitting area. Followed by a hearty Brunch, then we’ll all say goodbye, until the next time!
